Acclaimed Golf

Golf has always come first at Colorado Golf Club.

Designers Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw had free rein of the 1,700-acre property, which they describe as gifted for golf. Their routing takes golfers on a journey through ponderosa forest, scenic hillsides, rugged barrancas and open meadows. The Championship Course is a strategic test for golfers of all abilities, set in the pristine Rocky Mountain foothills. If you love golf, you will find it here. Competition tested and critically acclaimed as one of Coore & Crenshaw's finest, Colorado Golf Club stands among the game's finest modern courses.

Coore and Crenshaw, widely regarded as the top designers working today, have created modern classics, including Sand Hills Golf Club, Friar’s Head, Old Sandwich Golf Club, Bandon Trails and Cabot Cliffs. They have also provided advice to many of America’s most historic courses – Pinehurst No. 2, Cypress Point, Seminole and Shinnecock Hills among them. That makes Colorado Golf Club part of an elite lineage.

Colorado Golf Club is committed to serving as a host for top competitions. The USGA has selected Colorado Golf Club as the stroke-play co-host course for the 2023 U.S. Amateur Championship.

  • Short Course
    • The nine-hole Coore & Crenshaw Short Course tests your scoring game with a scenic collection of shots ranging from 70 to 175 yards.

The Short Course lets families enjoy the game in a relaxed setting, but it delivers a stern challenge for afternoon "emergency nines."

  • Practice Facility
    • Hone your game on one of golf's finest practice grounds.

Five greens protected by bunkers and maintained to on-course specifications ensure that golfers stay focused and on-point.  Long shots play to a fairway-width landing zone.  These design features help CGC members take their games from the practice tee to the first tee.  The short game area and putting green present virtually any situation encountered on the golf course.
